What it Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)?

EMDR aims to resolve certain experiences in a person's life that have had a detrimental impact on their wellbeing. The theory underpinning EMDR is summed up by the statement 'The body keeps the score'.

Approach of EMDR

It is a specialised type of approach that harnesses the natural sleep cycles of the body, namely Rapid Eye Movement (REM) to clear a person's headspace of the emotional falloutfrom certain unpleasant/traumatic/ stressful events. 

How is it useful
